The Fantasia Contest 19 was the nineteenth edition of the Fantasia Contest. It took place in Torlova, following PVRIS' win in the previous edition with the song "Hallucinations". The contest consisted of three semi-finals and a final.
Fifty-two countries confirmed their participation in the contest. Alkyria, Moowaus and Shinkoyu returned to the competition, while Ka'a and Kehbe and Yster withdrew. Boninbourg, Neocastria and Wedse debuted in the edition.
The winner was Hwaesonna with the song "Gottasadae" by BewhY. Hwaesonna scored 428 points, a margin of 4 points above the second placed country, Evergreen. This was Hwaesonna and Evergreen's best ever result in the contest. Namimori placed third, whereas Dýria and Levalle placed 4th and 5th respectively, with Namimori also achieving their best ever result and second automatic qualification.
Of the automatic qualifiers, Levalle placed the highest at fifth. Aquia placed 8th, Flírskmasto placed 16th, with the other two automatic qualifiers US Eldance and hosts Torlova placing 23rd and 26th respectively.
Format
The competition consisted of three semi-finals and a final. The countries with the highest score in each semi-final qualified to participate in the final, alongside the big five, the countries that were in the top 5 in the previous edition.

Other countries
To be eligible to participate in the Fantasia Contest, a country is required to be an active member of the Fantasia Broadcasting Association (FBA). The FBA issued an invitation to all active members of the FBA to participate in the contest.
Active FBA members
De Vremdspongeln: The broadcaster confirmed that the country would not return for the 19th contest. A return in the 20th edition has not been ruled out.
Ka'a and Kehbe: Despite originally confirming for the contest and selecting Moses Sumney's "Virile" for the contest, the broadcaster announced a sudden withdrawal on January 6th, 2020. No reason was given and a return in the 20th edition has not been decided on.
Yster: The Ysterian broadcaster shutdown amind political crisis. A new broadcaster is being set up by the new government. A Return in the 20th edition is likely.
