Kuwianish Stars 4
Kuwianish Stars 4 was the fourth edition of the Kuwianish music festival, Kuwianish Stars, organized by KBS to select Kuwiang's entry for the 35th Fantasia Contest. The show was held on 22 May 2024. For the first time, the show was held at the Muang Yang Arena, located in the capital city of Muang Yang.
Format[edit]
Due to the limit set by the Fantasia Broadcasting Reference Group, the final entries were reduced from eight to six. The candidate songs were performed in the final, and the song that received the most points from the international juries would represent Kuwiang in the 35th Fantasia Contest.
Competing entries[edit]
On 12 February 2024, KBS launched an online platform for artists and composers to submit their entries for a national competition. The submission period remained open until 14 March 2024, and interested parties had no specific requirements to meet. This process was open to all artists and songwriters without any particular restrictions, allowing for a diverse range of musical styles and genres. In total, 131 submissions were received by the deadline. An eight-member jury panel was then assembled to evaluate the submissions and select the top six entries that would advance to the national final.
Among the finalists, Anatomy Rabbit has previously represented Kuwiang in the twenty-sixth edition of the Fantasia Contest.
