Kuwianish Stars 3 was the third edition of the Kuwianish music festival, Kuwianish Stars, organized by KBS to select Kuwiang's entry for the 34th Fantasia Contest. The show was held between TBA and TBA. All shows of the third edition were held at the KBS Central Studio, located in the city of Muang Yang.

Format

There were two rounds in the competition. The eight candidate songs were performed in the first round, and the top three songs that received the most points from the international juries progressed to the next round. During the second round, the three qualified songs performed again. The winner was determined through public televoting and would represent Kuwiang in the 34th Fantasia Contest.

Competing entries

On 20 November 2023, KBS launched an online platform for artists and composers to submit their entries for a national competition. The submission period remained open until 20 December 2023, and interested parties had no specific requirements to meet. This process was open to all artists and songwriters without any particular restrictions, allowing for a diverse range of musical styles and genres. In total, 131 submissions were received by the deadline. An eight-member jury panel was then assembled to evaluate the submissions and select the top eight entries that would advance to the national final.

Among the finalists, two of the contestants have previously represented Kuwiang at the Fantasia Contest: Badmixy in the twenty-eighth edition as a member of Hiwwhee and Will Jay in the twenty-fourth edition as the first Kuwianish entrant in the contest. Moreover, Wednesday Campanella previously represented Hwaesonna in the fifteenth edition.

In this edition, entries in the Namimorish and Amelian languages have been included in the contest for the first time.
