Kuwianish Stars 2 was the second edition of the Kuwianish music festival, Kuwianish Stars, organized by KBS to select Kuwiang's entry for the 29th Fantasia Contest. It consisted of two rounds on 6 and 13 July 2022. All shows of the second edition were held at the KBS Central Studio, located in the city of Muang Yang.

Format[edit]

All eight competing acts performed in the first round, the three entries that received the most points from the international juries progressed to the second round.

In the second round (superfinal), the competing act that received the most votes from public televoting won the contest and would represent Kuwiang at the Fantasia Contest.

Competing entries[edit]

Kuwiang Broadcasting Service opened a submission period for interested artists and songwriters to submit their entries between 24 May 2022 and 14 June 2022. Artists and songwriters did not have any particular requirements to meet, and the process was open to all. A ten-member selection committee selected eight entries from the received submissions to compete in the national final. The list of the competing acts was presented on 20 June 2022, while competing entries were released between 23 and 30 June 2022.
