The Themed Fantasia Contest 1 was the first edition of the Themed Fantasia Contest. It took place in Niokori, Fordia, the capital city of the island of Turland. The contest itself articulates around a common theme given, with all broadcasters having to provide a song respecting the theme. Unlike the Fantasia Contest or the Junior Fantasia Contest, there is no rule mandating that every countries must send singers native of their country. Thirty countries confirmed their participation, all of them debuting.
The theme of this first edition was named Happy Birthday, and was connected to the idea of sending a song related to the month and year of birth of the head of delegation of a country. After the voting, which saw the use of a new voting system, Saint Vittoria, with the song "Say It Right", performed by Nelly Furtado won with 334 Points. They were followed, 5 points behind, by Glacea, while Tsikinia finished 3rd. Host country Fordia and Katsyria completed the top 5 respectively.
