He previously tried to represent Scandavia with song "Snowman", but finished 9th with 36 points. Then he tried to represent The White Havens in same edition with song "Power", but finished in joint 5th place with Beret & Pablo Alborán with song "Sueño" with 4 votes out of possible 39. The winner of national selection for The White Havens was Thorsteinn Einarsson with song "Bridges Burn" who received 8 votes out of possible 39 and was going to perform 2nd in the first semifinal.
He performed 5th in the second semifinal, after Eivør from Danskanksova and before Judeline from Aquia and, non-surpisingly in one semifinal with Scandavia.
