The Bundesvision Song Contest (often shortened BVSC or BuViSoCo) is a song competition held annually between the fourteen states of Scandavia. Created by Scandavian entertainer Stefan Raab and airs live on SKRF, the show is loosely based on the Fantasia Contest, with slightly different rules aiming at finding the perfect entrant for the Fantasia Contest of the same edition.

History

The Bundesvision Song Contest was created by Stefan Raab in 2019, in the vein of the Fantasia Contest. The contest is held annually between, however, the second series of the competition (#20) was cancelled due to restructuring of the broadcaster.

Format

The Bundesvision Song Contest follows a similar format as the Fantasia Contest: All fourteen states of Scandavia enter one song that is performed live on the night of the show, and once all states have performed, a winner is decided by tele-vote. As opposed to the Fantasia Contest, each state can also vote for themself.
