Freyhurst, officially known as the Republic of Freyhurst, is a country in the Fantasia world. It consists of five provinces. The capital is Belcoast, which is the most populated and largest city in the country.

A long time ago, Freyhurst became an independent nation after declaring independence from the United States of Eldance.
Government and politics[edit]
Freyhurst is a federal republic of 5 provinces, which also consists of territories.
Parties and elections[edit]
Freyhurst for most of its history has operated under a two-party system, with third parties failing to pass 1/5 of the vote in most elections. However, elections have been trending less towards the dominant parties, and more to third parties. The 2019 election marked the first time an Independent candidate won the election, which was cited as a "historical moment in Freyhurstian politics."

Mainstream cuisine in the country is similar to other countries. A common breakfast consumed in the country involves cocoa-coconut sprinkles being placed on breads spread with butter. Stir fries are also very common in the country, typically sold in street markets.
Mass media[edit]
The main national broadcaster in Freyhurst is Freyhurst Television (FTV), which is government-funded. The broadcaster has five channels, airing content in areas such as news, entertainment and local culture. The majority of entertainment exported from the country come from its cable channels, which have produced thousands of television series and films.
