The Green Party became the largest party for the first time, as both the FLU and the PDS experienced significant drops in their voting share following significant public dissatisfaction in their coalition which had been in power for the previous 8 years. As well as this, the right-wing Parti Medchem (the main conservative voice in parliament) rose significantly to become the next largest party behind the Greens. The Greens have now entered into a coalition with the progressive Sityenen I Shangi (Citizens for Change), but the rise of conservatism in Khamatin is the main story of this election.
