'''Provinces''': These are administrative divisions within a country, they can't make their own laws, they are divided into cantons and the cantons are divided into districts, each district has their own government called municipaliy.

'''Autonomous Territories''': That's the case of Jiyí, they have a huge cultural and/or linguistical difference within the rest of the republic, that they are granted control over cultural, linguistics, politics, communications, social security, education, research and trade in their territory, Tsikinía only provides international defense and representation.

These administrative divisions are themselves divided into '''Provinces''', which are also themselves divided into '''Cantons''', composed from 3 to 12.
