Fantasia Contest 13
The Fantasia Contest 13 was the thirteenth edition of the Fantasia Contest. It took place in Baesnia, following Meg Myers' win in the previous edition with the song "Numb".

Fifty-one countries participated in the contest.
The winner was Snow Ghosts from Niolskiaj with song "Circles out of Salt" with 351 points. The second place went to Pomme from Juliana with "On brûlera", the televote winner and gained their first automatic qualification, the third place went to Beach House from Evergreen, fourth place went to Bree Runway from Ermy and fifth place went to ROSALÍA from Aquia. Scandavia missed an automatic qualification by only four points, finishing 6th. Jarea and Ka'a and Kehbe, who finished 8th and 11th respectively, came 2nd and 4th in the televote respectively.
Of the debuting countries, Ka'a and Kehbe, Hwaesonna and Moly-Boronia qualified for the grand final, finishing 11th, 13th and last respectively. Torlova and Wyvernbourne failed to qualify, but the former will qualify for the grand final in next edition and win, the latter will qualify for the grand final in seventeenth edition.
Of automatic qualifiers, Evergreen gained another automatic qualification by finishing 3rd, Dýria finished 15th, Demacia, after two automatic qualifications in a row finished 17th, the host country Baesnia finished 20th, while finishing 14th in the televote, and Glacea finished 22nd. It was the first time since seventh edition, where an automatic qualifier didn't take the last place.
Format
The competition consisted of three semi-finals and a final. The countries with the highest score in each semi-final qualified to participate in the final, alongside the big five, the countries that were in the top 5 in the previous edition.

Other countries
To be eligible to participate in the Fantasia Contest, a country is required to be an active member of the Fantasia Broadcasting Association (FBA). The FBA issued an invitation to all active members of the FBA to participate in the contest.
Active FBA members
Amelia: Amelia was forced to withdraw due to FBA sanctions.
Prunia: Prunia TV announced that the country would not be returning for the 13th edition, nor in the near future.
Associate FBA members
Florea: The Florean broadcaster was degraded to associate broadcaster status and thus will be unable to participate
Kerwan: The Kerwanese broadcaster was degraded to associate broadcaster status and thus will be unable to participate.
Marsia: The Marsian broadcaster was degraded to associate broadcaster status and thus will be unable to participate.
Orangina: Though Orangina Television reopened following its original shutdown, the broadcaster was degraded to associate broadcaster status and thus will be unable to participate.
Pecunia: The Pecunian broadcaster was degraded to associate broadcaster status and thus will be unable to participate.
