Fantasia Contest 15
The Fantasia Contest 15 was the fifteenth edition of the Fantasia Contest. It took place in Torlova, following their win in the previous edition with Est-Her and the song "Last Minute Wedding".

Fifty countries participated in fifteenth edition. Drevona, Sincuerello and Yster debuted, Glaray and Wyvernbourne returned, Ermy, Foxtavia, Lab Rador, Pacifica, Te Ao and US Eldance withdrew.
The winner was Shygirl with song "Gush" from Alkyria with 413 points, with a margin of 7 points. This was Alkyria's second win, the first being in fourth edition. Second place went to Achróa, who archieved their best result, third place went to Yster, who became the recent country to gain automatic qualification for the next edition on their debut, fourth place went to Danskanksova, fifth place went to Zylofonija. The televote runner-up Atlandia missed automatic qualification by only two points.
Of members of "Big 5", Demacia finished higher at 7th, the host country Torlova finished 17th, Pashlanahuy finished 23rd, Frootania finished 24th, archieving their worst result in the grand final until seventeenth edition, Scandavia finished last.
Format
The competition consisted of three semi-finals and a final. The countries with the highest score in each semi-final qualified to participate in the final, alongside the big five, the countries that were in the top 5 in the previous edition.

It was confirmed that fifty countries would perform in Estambla. Each semi final contained 15 semi finalists.

Other countries
To be eligible to participate in the Fantasia Contest, a country is required to be an active member of the Fantasia Broadcasting Association (FBA). The FBA issued an invitation to all active members of the FBA to participate in the contest.
Active FBA members
Ermy: Despite originally confirming their presence as well as their artist, after the FBA placed sanctions on Ermy, they were forced to withdraw.
Foxtavia: Foxtavia was forced to withdraw due to FBA sanctions.
Pacifica: Due to governmental intrusion in the broadcasting and voting process in the previous edition, the FBA placed sanctions on Pacifica, forcing them to withdraw from the edition.
United States of Eldance: The United States of Eldance were forced to withdraw due to FBA sanctions.
Associate FBA members
Florea: On 6 January 2019, the country's broadcaster FBN announced that it was exploring a return to the contest for the fifteenth edition.
Inotyol: The Inotyolese broadcaster was degraded to associate broadcaster status and thus will be unable to participate.
Prunia: Prunia TV announced that the country would not be returning for the 15th edition, nor in the near future.
