The Fantasia Contest 10 was the tenth edition of the Fantasia Contest. It took place in Aquia, following their win in the previous edition with Eva Simons and the song "Guaya".

The winner was Fleurie with "Hurricane" from Fordia with 377 points, with a margin of 55 points. Second place went to Flírskmasto, third place went to Trivania, fourth place went to US Eldance and fifth place went to Te Ao.

All the "Big 5" members finished on the right side of the scoreboard, with Aquia finishing the highest at 14th, Lanovina finishing 16th, Glaray finishing 23rd, Scandavia and Dýria finishing 25th and last, resprectively.

Bidding phase

After their victory, Aquia announced there would be a bidding phase to decide the arena which will host the teth edition. On 2 November 2017, the bidding phase kicked off. Multiple arenas in Aquia have expressed their interest in hosting the contest. Rede Globo (HGP), the Alkyrian broadcaster, working together with the Fantasia Broadcasting Association has narrowed the selection down to 3 arenas located in 3 different cities of Aquia.

On 12 November 2017, it was revealed that the LDM Arena in Rio de Fevereiro would be the venue for the contest.

Rede Globo and the FBA released some requirements and details about the venue. Two of the three arenas are able to match the required guidelines:

The venue must be available for at least 6 to 7 weeks before the contest and one week after the conclusion of the contest.
The venue must not be open-air, but an air-conditioned building with a capacity of at least 10,000 and a minimum ceiling height of 15 metres (49 ft), insulated for sound and light.
The Green Room should be located in the arena or as near it as possible, with a capacity of 300.
An additional room at least 6,000 square metres (65,000 sq ft) in area, to house 2 catering stands, a viewing room, make-up rooms, wardrobe, and booths for approximately 60 commentators.
Separate offices to house the press centre, at least 4,000 square metres (43,000 sq ft) in area, with a capacity of at least 1,500 journalists.

São Bruno	Centro de Convenções Larissa da Silva	9,400	With the implementation of a master auditorium, convention rooms, exhibition area, and other support areas, this arena is located in the Monumental Axis, including various facilities, accesses, urbanization and landscaping.

Format

The competition consisted of three semi-finals and a final. The countries with the highest score in each semi-final qualified to participate in the final, alongside the big five, the countries that were in the top 5 in the previous edition.

It was confirmed that fifty countries would perform in Rio de Fevereiro. One semi-final contained 14 participants, while the other two contained 15.
