The team's biggest success on the world stage was reaching the semi-finals in the [[2019 FANA World Cup]], which also marked the countries first ever time hosting an International tournament/competition.
As the host nation, Wedse automatically qualified for 2019 FANA World Cup. The following year, Wedse qualified for [[2020 FANA World Cup]]. This marked the third consecutive time that Wedse featured in a World Cup
