The format consisted of a two-round final with eleven entries. The final presentation show was held on 26 December 2021, while the results show of the final as well as the superfinal were held on 3 January 2022. [[India Shawn]] won the edition with the song "[[DON'T PLAY WITH MY HEART]]", defeating three other acts in the superfinal. She failed to qualify for the final at the Fantasia Contest, placing eighth out of fifteen entries in the first semi-final with 121 points, missing out on qualification by 28 points.
==Background==
Ulikan broadcaster URTV (''Ulyck Radio and Television'') announced the third edition of U.D.O. would be held alongside the announcement of their participation in the Fantasia Contest on 7 December 2021 and the song submission portal opened directly after, closing on 14 December. It was originally announced that the selection would shrink, becoming a single-round final with six to eight entries. After seeing the high quality of entries submitted, however, URTV decided to keep the format of the previous edition. The broadcaster opted instead to alter the voting format, doing away with international juries and instead opening up the televote to all, both domestic and international, during both rounds. On 21 December 2021, URTV announced the eleven acts participating in the selection. Their songs were then revealed on the night of the final.
