"Singing Man Namisentria 8" (Koran: 싱깅맨 싱깅맨 나미센트리아 8 회, Namimorish: シングマン 並川鳥杏 8 挿話) is the sixteenth edition of the Namimorish music festival, as well as the eight binational edtion. It will be used to select Namimori's and Qasentria's entry to the Fantasia Contest 36.

On 17 August 2024, the head of production Hijiri Fukushiro announced that the show would still kick on and be used to determine Namimori's and Qasentria's representative. The winning artists would compete for Namimori and Qasentria at the 35th Fantasia Contest, expected to be held in Zakaslovia.

For the first time ever since Namisentria 3, an act from Namimori side won the overall show. Chikara City-born singer-songwriter Lee Seung Yoon was crowned as the winner with the song "Pokpo (Waterfall)", with 3 points ahead of Qasentrian winner Atarashii Gakko! with "Toryanse".

Format

Singing Man Namisentria, organised by Namimorish Television (nmtv°) together with a cooperation with Qasentrian Broadcasting Agency (QBA), will be 8th edition of the contest in which the competition will take place in capitals across the South Serican region of Namisentria.

Entry selection

Due to the recent change regarding numbers of entry availibity for national selections, the number of participants were reduced from 20 to 12 overall.

Namimorish Television and Qasentrian Broadcasting Agency opened two submission contests that accepted entries between 1 September and 16 Octobrr 2021 for interested artists and songwriters to submit their proposals for the competition. Entries submitted for the competition were required to be released after 2012 and with singer/band that holds Namimorish/Qasentrian citizenship or permanent residency. The choice of language was free.

Following the conclusion of the submission periods, nmtv° and QBA received 4,572 entries. The delegation teams created a shortlist of entries from the received submissions and formed a selection panel that will be tasked to select 12 entries for the competition.

Presenters

At a press conference held in Città di Saba Anglana (Cyrille-Toman) on 17 August 2024, the producer team introduced the host presenter Iolanda and Văn Mai Hương, winners of the previous edition.
