The contest has been held once approximately every three months since September 2015. The contest's winner has been determined through a voting system in which each country casts votes through either jury, televoting or both and awards them. The country with the most points is declared the winner. Throughout the twenty five contests held, [[Alkyria in the Fantasia Contest|Alkyria]], [[Demacia in the Fantasia Contest|Demacia]], [[Niolskiaj in the Fantasia Contest|Niolskiaj]] and [[Torlova in the Fantasia Contest|Torlova]] have won the contest twice, with the remaining twentieth countries winning once.
