It took place in [[Torlova]], following their win in the [[Fantasia Contest 14\|previous edition]] with [[Est-Her]] and the song "Last Minute Wedding". Fifty countries participated in fifteenth edition. [[Drevona in the Fantasia Contest\|Drevona]], [[Sincuerello in the Fantasia Contest\|Sincuerello]] and [[Yster in the Fantasia Contest\|Yster]] debuted, [[Glaray in the Fantasia Contest\|Glaray]] and [[Wyvernbourne in the Fantasia Contest\|Wyvernbourne]] returned, [[Ermy in the Fantasia Contest\|Ermy]], [[Foxtavia in the Fantasia Contest\|Foxtavia]], [[Lab Rador in the Fantasia Contest\|Lab Rador]], [[Pacifica in the Fantasia Contest\|Pacifica]], [[Te Ao in the Fantasia Contest\|Te Ao]] and [[US Eldance in the Fantasia Contest\|US Eldance]] withdrew.
