The finals involved 32 teams, of which 31 came through qualifying competitions, while as the host nation Wedse qualified automatically. 64 matches were played in 8 venues across 5 cities. Niolskiaj, the defending champions, were eliminated in the group stage. Host nation Wedse was eliminated in the semi-finals, and eventually took 4th place after loosing to Llort. In the final, Aquia played Lidonia on 28 December at the [[Stadözh Giina]] in [[Wedse Capital]]. Aquia won the match 2–1, to claim their first World Cup win.

The draw was held on 4 December 2019 at 20:00 WST at the Sky Tower in [[Wedse Capital]].The 32 teams were drawn into eight groups of four, by selecting one team from each of the four ranked pots.
For the draw, the teams were allocated to four pots, based on previous rankings and location. Pot one contained the hosts Wedse (who were automatically assigned to position A1) and the best seven teams. Pot two contained the next best eight teams, and so on for pots three and four. The pots for the draw are shown below.
