It took place in Taslana, following [[Kali Mutsa]]'s victory in the [[Fantasia Contest 23\|twenty-third edition]] with the song "HaYaKo HaYaKo". Fifty countries participated in Fantasia Contest 24: [[Kuwiang in Fantasia Contest\|Kuwiang]] and [[Ulikana in Fantasia Contest\|Ulikana]] debuted, [[Danskanksova in Fantasia Contest\|Danskanksova]], [[Glacea in Fantasia Contest\|Glacea]] and [[Sirenforest in Fantasia Contest\|Sirenforest]] returned after one edition break, and [[Ermy in Fantasia Contest\|Ermy]] returned after nine editions break. [[Drevona in Fantasia Contest\|Drevona]], [[Ka'a and Kehbe in Fantasia Contest\|Ka'a and Kehbe]], [[Pashlanahuy in Fantasia Contest\|Pashlanahuy]], [[Sylvan in Fantasia Contest\|Sylvan]], [[Trivania in Fantasia Contest\|Trivania]] and [[Vikyirie in Fantasia Contest\|Vikyirie]] withdrew. The winner was [[Julien Baker]] with "Hardline" from [[Shkeera in Fantasia Contest\|Shkeera]] with 367 points, with margin of 23 points above the second placing country, [[Flírskmasto in Fantasia Contest\|Flírskmasto]]. It was Shkeera's first ever automatic qualification for the grand final in next edition and Flírskmasto's third automatic qualification for the grand final in next edition in a row. Third place went to [[Fordia in Fantasia Contest\|Fordia]], fourth place went to [[Namimori in Fantasia Contest\|Namimori]] and fifth place to [[Vradiazi in Fantasia Contest\|Vradiazi]]. Of the automatic qualifiers, [[Flírskmasto in Fantasia Contest\|Flírskmasto]] placed 2nd, [[Glaiola in Fantasia Contest\|Glaiola]] finished 17th, [[Lanovina in Fantasia Contest\|Lanovina]] placed 19th, the host country [[Taslana in Fantasia Contest\|Taslana]] and [[Alkyria in Fantasia Contest\|Alkyria]] placed 25th and 26th respectively.
